David E. Morris is presently the Director of Bands at Spanish Springs High School in Sparks, Nevada. A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Mr. Morris received the Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Music Education degrees from the University of Kentucky and the Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Prior to his appointment at Spanish Springs HS, Mr. Morris taught for 16 years in the Clark County School District (Las Vegas, NV) and 9 years in the public schools of Kentucky (Bryan Station HS) and Louisiana (Lafayette HS) including serving as Associate Director of Bands at Louisiana State University. He hold membership in the National Band Association, National Association for Music Education, Nevada Music Educators Association, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Kappa Kapp Psi
(honorary) and Phi Beta Mu.
