Justin has performed with the Farmington United Percussion Ensemble (2009-2010) Western Michigan University Drumline (2010-2013), Legends Winter Percussion (2011-2014), and the Legends Drum and Bugle corps (2013); additionally performing in the WMU Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble and Birds on a Wire. He also attended the Wula Drum camp in New York were he learned African hand drumming and dance. Justin studied music at WMU including Taiko Drumming, rudimental and orchestral percussion, composition, piano, vocal, guitar, drum set, conducting and graduated with a Liberal Arts Degree in Music.

Justin’s teaching career includes a variety of schools in Michigan (2010-2017), Legends Indoor Ensemble (2012-2016), Legends Winter Percussion (2014-2016), the Legends Drum and Bugle Corps (2014-2018), Genesis Percussion (2017), he is currently involved with eNVision (2020-present), and Edward C. Reed High School’s Winter and Fall programs (2017-present).
