Why Consider eNVision for your year-end giving?

eNVision has concluded its 8th year! What a year it was. Flashback:

1. eNVision had over 25 performances for Artown events, basketball halftime shows, parades, and special events in 3 states.

2. We hosted almost 10 events that had hundreds of youth participation! We diversified our programs to include percussion, guard, conducting, and leadership! We even taught 3 drum classes over the summer at three Boys & Girls Club locations.

3. We provided volunteers for the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-off, Reno Balloon Races, NNIA, and Artown.

4. We awarded $3,500 in scholarships to assist youth have an experience in our programs.

5. We successfully raised $15,000 to replace our drums and upgrade our sound system!

Looking ahead:

*We have expanded our travel schedule for our indoor program. We plan to represent Northern Nevada at the Western Championships in both Northern and Southern California, and at the World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.

*We are going to expand our summer workshops to include wind players! This will complement our percussion, guard, conducting, and leadership training programs.

The need:

1. We need to upgrade our short-term transportation to properly facilitate the demands of our program goals. The immediate need is $2,000 to purchase and outfit an equipment trailer.

2. We need another 4.5 octave marimba. This instrument will expand the number of performers we can accept into our programs for the next decade. The cost for this is $5,000.

3. Our performance tarp for the indoor program needs replacement. This need is $1,500. This allows us to protect our equipment, the facilities we rehearse in, and to stay competitive with the top units like us from around the world. We want to set-up our performers for the best chance of success.

4. Consider a donation to our scholarship fund to help us not only sustain but to expand our support of youth involvement.

5. Our long-term transportation fund starts now. We will need to replace some of our current transportation in the next few years. This cost is upwards of $20,000. We plan to raise this over time so when the time comes, we are ready.
