It has been a very busy couple months for eNVision. Members and staff represented while volunteering at the Rockin' River Marathon in early May. In June, we rocked downtown Reno in the Rodeo parade where we won 1st place in the marching music caption. We even helped kick off the Western States Golf Association Conference at the Peppermill in late June.
July 1st we marched in the Mohawk Valley Independence Parade in Graeagle, CA and that night opened for Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart at Opening Night of Artown for thousands in attendance! July 3rd we had an exhilarating experience while on the field at a Reno Ace's game in the Freight House District. We kicked off the Independence Day Fireworks Celebration for a sold out crowd (9,400+ people)! While the following day we lead the Montreux Independence Day Parade.
From the members:
Snare drummer Ryne Haas said, "Before i joined eNVision i had no idea what i was going to do with my life. After i joined i realized that this program is probably the most positive thing i have been a part of and i want to stay a part of it. So i decided to move from California to Reno and go to school here so it will be easier to be a member with eNVision. So thanks to eNVision i have the next four years of my life planned out." Returning guard member Ciera Talseth said, "I love eNVision because I get to do new things with great people. It keeps me busy doing the things I love most while being in an awesome learning environment."
